Matt. 4:2-3
After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. Tempter came to him and said,

“If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.”

One of the extreme ways a human can be tested is through hunger, I watched a movie titled ” The 33″ a true story about miners that where stock under the ground, I saw how hunger removed the diplomacy in some of them, that made them wild.
Then I begin to ask myself, what if I was there would I still be gentle and calm in such a situation?

Hunger is powerful and hence the saying,

“a hungry man is an angry man”.

Jesus after his 40 day prayer and fasting needed food and water to gain strength, the devil used that as an opportunity to give Jesus negative ideas by trying him with his power, Jesus didn’t fall for that because He understood that as important as food is to his stomach so is God’s word to his soul.

Alot of people have compromised standards because of food(earthly pleasure), as a child of God, do you still fall for things because you are in position or have the opportunity?

We have more in God’s word than food or anything that life has to offer us.
